Liberty National Golf Club

Friday afternoon was a sigh of relief about Liberty National Golf Club's position as the number one golfer, Tiger Woods at the Barclays next week. Woods decided not to participate in tournaments in the years 2007 and 2008-missed the tournament because of knee surgery.

Barclays is the first of four tournaments that the PGA Tour FedExCup playoff. With Woods committed to play 124 of the top 125 players on the PGA Tour will compete in the tournament.

Woods has played an important role in the impressive PGA Tour in second place Steve Stricker in the FedExCup. He has five victories in the Tour in 2009.
